Standard opening references
Current top-mounted reference openings include 700×900, 700×1000, 700×1200, 800×900, 800×1000 and 800×1200 mm. Other sizes can be reviewed. Openings larger than 800×1200 mm may require modification or a closing frame.
These values are selection references. Final dimensions, load, power, installation and warranty must be tied to the selected model and the written project specification.

Can attic stairs be made to a non-standard opening?
Custom sizing can be reviewed after the supplier receives the opening, height, fixing and clearance information.
What should an electric model specification include?
Ask for the motor and controller model, voltage, power, remote configuration, limit control, emergency operation and component warranty.
How should load claims be compared?
Compare the exact model, whole-ladder or tread test, static or dynamic method, fixing basis and supporting report. A single number is not enough.
